Anna Douglass
Writer/Filmmaker
Anna is a student at the University of West Georgia studying Mass Communications with a concentration in film and video production and a minor in creative writing.
Anna produced the Short Film One Last Dance and has directed several other projects, including Quoi, The Silent Killer, and Finding Pride. She has also written several short films, including One Last Dance, Finding A Picture Perfect Family, and The Silent Killer. On top of writing numerous shorts, she is currently working on a pilot based on her screenplay Finding A Picture Perfect Family and feature screenplay based on the short film One Last Dance.
Anna grew up in Rome, Georgia. She has been creating stories since she was in kindergarten. She mainly told her stories through her Polly Pockets, but as she got older, she wanted to document the stories that she came up with, which is when she started to write. Anna wanted to grow her writing skills, so when she entered high school, she joined the Yearbook staff and eventually worked hard enough to become Editor-in-chief during her senior year of high school. She instantly fell in love with writing and decided to become a journalism major. However, after her first year, she decided to take some time off and reevaluate what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. During that time, she started creating characters and stories that began to stick with her and helped her create some of the Short Films and stories she has written today.
